The regulations clearly specify how high a fine for driving without a driving license can be imposed on a person who gets into a car without the appropriate license. So how much does it cost to drive a car without qualifications? We answer the most important questions.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the penalty for driving without a driving license?<\/h2>\n<p>People who have never obtained a driving license and still decide to get behind the wheel should face very serious consequences. In 2021, the upper limit of the fine for not having a driving license was PLN 500. As you can easily guess, such a penalty was not able to deter many irresponsible drivers who got behind the wheel despite having no driving license.<\/p>\n<p>However, such a penalty is a thing of the past &#8211; currently, driving without a driving license is treated as an offense and is punishable by a fine. The fine for not having a driving license in 2022 may be up to PLN 5,000. But that&#8217;s not the end. A driver fined is also subject to a driving ban &#8211; its length is determined by the court.<\/p>\n<p>If there is no other driver in the vehicle next to the unlicensed driver who could drive home, the car will be towed at the driver&#8217;s expense. Ultimately, this means that driving without a driving license in 2022 may cost much more than just PLN 5,000.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the fine for driving without a driving license of the appropriate category?<\/h2>\n<p>Driving a vehicle without the appropriate category of driving license is treated in the same way as driving without any license. Moreover, during court proceedings, the court may decide to revoke a driving license of a different category.<\/p>\n<p>You must also be aware of the fact that you only receive the right to drive a vehicle when you collect your driving license from the transport department. This means that driving a car:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>while taking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecodrive.com.pl\/kurs-prawa-jazdy\">driving course<\/a>,<\/li>\n<li>before the practical exam,<\/li>\n<li>after passing the exam, but before receiving the document,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>is also punishable because, according to the regulations, it is treated as driving without a driving license. 2022 is no exception in this respect.<\/p>\n<h2>Driving a car after having your driving license suspended<\/h2>\n<p>There is a slightly different penalty for driving without a driving license if, despite keeping your document for 3 months, e.g. for exceeding the speed limit by 50 km\/h, you get into a car during the ban. Then, in the event of an inspection, you must take into account that the penalty will be extended to 6 months. Subsequent violation of the ban may lead to complete loss of qualifications, requiring repeated completion of the course and passing the exam.<\/p>\n<h2>Driving without a driving license 2022 \u2013 it may cost a lot!<\/h2>\n<p>Driving without a valid driving license can be very expensive. It&#8217;s not just about financial penalties or the consequences of temporarily or completely withdrawing your driving license. A driver who, despite his lack of qualifications, decides to take his car on the road poses a mortal threat to himself and all other road users.
